With Australian Dental Association NSW support, DHA initiated a program aimed at creating a range of powdered and bottled oral health drinks, including some drinks containing fluoride (F) to enable consumers to choose these products in preference to those deficient in fluoride or not positive in respect to your oral health.
Market research suggests that ‘Drinks+F’ would have wide appeal, especially in regional locations where fluoride is not yet supplied in community tap-water.
DHA has worked with government to modify current food production regulations, to allow for bottled water and drinks to include fluoride at 1ppm.
At the recent ADA FDIWDC23, a new range of oral health drinks was launched under a new brand, OSHO. These drinks have been scientifically formulated with Dr. Angie Lang to freshen breath, prevent cavities and gum disease, relieve and prevent dry, neutralise mouth acids and prevent stains on teeth.
